St. Clement Church would love to be a part of your marriage celebration! 

There are three different ways to obtain a sacramental marriage in the Catholic Church. Please see the different ways and requirements below. ​

First Marriage

If both bride and groom have not previously been civilly or sacramentally married, then they will take the steps to get married in the Catholic Church. This requires working closely with one of St. Clement's Deacons to fulfill all the marriage preparation requirements. Please see the document above for information.

Convalidation of Civil Marriage

If you and your spouse have been married civilly but are seeking to be married in the Catholic Church, then you will need to undergo a convalidation of marriage. Please see below for the requirements.

Annulment and Second Marriage

If you or your spouse have been previously married, then you will need to get your first marriage annulled before you can be married in the Catholic Church. Please see below for information regarding the annulment process.
